Tajinder Singh Pal Bagga on Bigg Boss 18

During the exclusive chat, Tajinder Singh Pal Bagga was asked if has any plans to join Khatron Ke Khiladi or do a film in the future. Answering this, Baggaa replied, “There’s no specific plan for Khatron Ke Khiladi or the movie. When the Bigg Boss offer came, I thought it was a good platform to reach people. Politicians have the desire to be known, and in politics, everyone knows that wherever I go, I meet loving people. But I felt that through this platform, I could reach the maximum number of people.”

When asked if he had to takes any permission from his political party to join Bigg Boss 18, the politician said, “Our party is democratic. If you participate in something that may differ from the political party’s views you will have to seek permission. Otherwise, the party doesn’t dictate what to ask or not ask.”

When asked how closely are cinema and politics linked, Tajinder states he doesn’t think there is any direct link between the two. He said, “I don’t believe there’s a direct connection. Some people in power face bulldozers at their homes, as we saw in Maharashtra when Kangana’s house was targeted. I don’t see a connection in that regard.”

Tajinder on selling Tanhaji tickets

When the Ajay Devgn starrer Tanhaji was released, Bagga was appreciated for selling tickets to the ones who couldn’t afford to watch the film. Talking about why he did that, the BJP MP said, “I wanted to make a connection with Ajay Devgn and for me when someone makes a film celebrating our diverse culture I feel we should support them. About distributing tickets and whether I discuss it with people before and after, my stance is that I don’t aim to connect with anyone specifically. Anyone who makes patriotic films, celebrating our country’s heroes and culture, is someone I want to help. It’s something I want to reach as many people as possible with. So, we organize screenings or try to distribute tickets to those who can’t afford to see the movies. We’ve done this for all previous films.”

During the same time, Deepika Padukone’s Chhappak was also released but eventually was a flop. Did Tajinder have any reaction for Deepika’s film to be a flop? To this, he answered, ” I don’t think it was solely due to her; the fate of films can vary. We don’t take any credit or stance. It might have not been a good film”

When asked if the BJP MP had actors and filmmakers approached him to support their films? He said, “Yes, I have organized screenings for several movies, including in Mumbai and Delhi. For example, I organized screenings for Hanuman, and Uri, as well as for Kangana’s Manikarnika and Tejas.”

Bagga on Salman Khan

Tajinder was asked how excited is he to see Salman Khan in Bigg Boss 18, he mentioned, “I’m very excited to meet Salman Khan because I’ve watched his movies like Maine Pyaar Kiya and Hum Aapke Hain Koun! many times. Interestingly, I’m also a big fan of PM Modi, so it feels like we have something in common.”

Bagga was asked what are his game plans to control his anger. Answering this the BJP MP said, ” I believe anger won’t arise easily. So far, it hasn’t. However, when we go into a fight or a game, we don’t always have a pre-planned strategy. Just like in cricket, when players go in, they adjust based on how the ball comes. If I think too much about how to swing the bat beforehand, I might get out. So, I believe we should react to situations as they come.”
